The pureNA<\/em>\u00ae Cell Free DNA Isolation Kit is designed for efficient isolation of circulating cell free DNA (cfDNA) from plasma samples. The versatile system uses silica-coated magnetic bead technology to extract and purify cfDNA from 2mL of plasma. The cell free DNA extraction buffers maximize cfDNA recovery by selecting for and efficiently recovering small DNA fragments from 100 bp \u2013 500 bp with low elution volumes.\u00a0The extraction protocol is fast and scalable, allowing users to process several samples in one hour, or less. EntroGen’s pureNA<\/em>\u00ae Cell Free DNA Isolation Kit is a versatile, rapid and cost effective solution for cfDNA purification and extraction for downstream PCR or Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) applications.<\/p>\n

Reagents & Materials<\/h2>\n

All necessary reagents for cfDNA isolation from human plasma samples are provided.<\/p>\n

This protocol requires the use of fresh 100% EtOH, 20mg\/mL Proteinase K* and 20% SDS*.\u00a0 Proteinase K from Qiagen (cat no: 19133) and 20% SDS from VWR (cat no: 97062-440) are recommended.<\/p>\n

*Only necessary if using plasma from blood collected in Streck Cell-Free BCT preservative.<\/p>\n

This protocol also requires a magnetic stand for molecular applications (e.g. DynaMag\u2122-15 or DynaMag\u2122-2).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
