The EGFRX Mutation Analysis Extension Kit is a real-time PCR-based add-on assay designed to expand the mutation detection capabilities of EntroGen\u2019s EGFR-RT52 kit by targeting additional rare somatic mutations in EGFR, specifically affecting amino acids L858, L861, and E709.<\/p>\n

This extension kit detects L858M and L861R with allele-specific precision and identifies E709 mutations (including E709K, E709V, and E709Q) through cross-reactivity at higher DNA inputs, all under the same conditions as the parent EGFR-RT52 assay.<\/p>\n

Used in conjunction with the EGFR-RT52 kit, this add-on enhances the breadth of mutation coverage and supports more comprehensive EGFR profiling in solid tumor samples.<\/p>\n

The EGFRX Mutation Analysis Extension Kit is a real-time PCR-based assay designed for the specific and sensitive detection of somatic EGFR mutations. Using mutant-specific primers and fluorescent hydrolysis probes, the assay preferentially amplifies mutant DNA even in samples with a high proportion of wild-type DNA.<\/p>\n

The EGFRX Mutation Analysis Extension Kit follows a simple and easy to use process. It can be completed in 2 hours and follows a far less complicated process.<\/p>\n

EntroGen\u02bcs EGFRX Mutation Analysis Extension Kit requires a real-time PCR instrument capable of detecting VIC and FAM fluorescent probes.<\/p>\n

This test includes reagents required for PCR amplification\/detection, as well as validated reaction controls.<\/p>\n
