The MLH1 Methylation Detection Kit is a real-time PCR-based assay that uses methylation-sensitive restriction enzymes (MSREs) to detect methylation in clinically relevant promoter regions C and D of the MLH1<\/em> gene. By comparing fluorescence signals between enzyme-treated and untreated DNA reactions, the assay quantifies methylation levels without the need for bisulfite conversion.<\/p>\n

The MLH1 Methylation Detection Kit follows a simple and easy to use process. It can be completed in less than 3 hours and follows a simple process.<\/p>\n

EntroGen\u02bcs MLH1 Methylation Detection Kit requires a real-time PCR instrument capable of detecting FAM fluorescent probes.<\/p>\n

This test includes reagents required for PCR amplification\/detection, as well as validated reaction controls. Each DNA sample is tested in two paired reactions: one is treated with methylation-sensitive restriction enzymes (RE) before qPCR, while the other is left untreated to serve as a reference. The untreated reaction provides a baseline for calculating methylation levels by comparing it to the RE-treated reaction.<\/p>\n
